Itinerary

There are three options for this tour:

1. RECREATIONAL TOUR - Departure from Puerto Lopez to the Agua Blanca community, there you will visit the archaeological museum, handicraft shops and the sulphurous water lagoon, typical lunch. In the afternoon we will visit Los Frailes Beach to rest and take a refreshing swim. The route has 24 kiometers and is easy to reach. The tour starts at 9:00  and ends at 16h00. Much of the journey is mad in a tropical dry forest.

2. THE ROUTE OF HUMMINBIRD. The name of this route is due to the habitat of the "Estrellita Esmeraldeña" considered the second smallest hummingbird in the world. It begins in Puerto Lopez with direction to the community of El Pital, continues through the town of El Triunfo and Guale until you reach the Ayampe River, then continue to the area called Quebrada Honda and from there you will take the coastal road to descend to the Ayampe village. Along the route we will find a humid tropical forest with a diversity of plants and birds, as well as beautiful landscapes. The route has a route of 33 kilometers and is of medium effort with some descents and undulations. The tour starts at 9:00  and ends at 15h00.

3.  THE GOAT ROUTE . This route begins in the sector known as "San Bembe" in the via Guayaquil - Jipijapa. On the way, we will visit the village of JULCUY, famous for the breeding of goats and for the typical cuisine such as seco de goat. Then we will take the Buenavista river until we reach the community of Agua Blanca. On the way we can visit communities, taste the gastronomy, bird watching and visit the archaeological museum and sulphurous lagoon, the route of this route is 38 kiometers and is an effort medium. The tour starts at 9:00  and ends at 14:00 in Puerto Lopez
